Phonics Summary 2021
88% of children in Year 2 passed the phonics screening in Autumn 2021 (82% National 2019).
(The Phonics check for children in Year 1 in June 2021 was cancelled).

Statutory Tests:
Congratulations to all children who have taken statutory assessments this year. Tests are just one measure of outcomes for pupils and we are proud of every child for trying their very best. Our school results are very favourable in comparison to national outcomes and are as follows:
Foundation Stage
Children entered school broadly in line with standards expected for their age. By the end of the
academic year 85% (70.7% National last year) had achieved a Good Level of Development.
Key Stage 1 – Year 2
