Welcome to the Owl's class page.

Please take a look at our class photos to see what we have been up to so far this year.

Below is an overview of what we will be learning during this half-term.

This half-term we will:

Write stories, biographies, balanced arguments and formal letters in our English lessons.

In Maths, we will study units on shape, position and direction and how to calculate with decimals.

During our computing lessons we will be learning to animate.

In Art lessons, we will be focussing on 3D art forms and creating pots from different materials.

We will learn about Earthquakes during Geography lessons.

In History lessons we will study Arabia and it’s influence on modern life.

In Science, we will learn about the rotation of the earth causing night and day, how we use forces to aid us in everyday tasks and to plan and carry out fair tests.

We will have outdoor PE lessons on a Monday morning after assembly and on a Thursday afternoon.

In Religious Education lessons we will learn about the Christian belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus and his teachings.

On a Wednesday afternoon, the children will continue with French lessons with a focus on phonics, vocabulary and grammar with Mrs Kandes.
